Description

SUMMARY:

TM Xplore I is Techman Robot’s first humanoid robot, a wheeled humanoid platform designed for industrial and service automation. It features 22 actuated joints, 5‑finger hands, NVIDIA Jetson Orin compute, TM AI Vision, and 0.83 m/s mobility. Techman (a Quanta Computer subsidiary) targets a 2026 commercial launch.

EDITORIAL:

TM Xplore I is a natural evolution of Techman’s dominance in collaborative robots (TM cobots). Instead of building a bipedal humanoid, Techman chose a wheeled humanoid—a pragmatic design optimized for factory floors, warehouses, and inspection tasks.

Three things make TM Xplore I stand out:

1. Cobot DNA

Techman is one of the world’s major cobot manufacturers. TM Xplore inherits:

- TM AI Vision

- Safety‑rated proximity sensing

- Precise servo‑motor control

- Industrial‑grade reliability

2. NVIDIA Orin at the core

The robot uses Jetson Orin for real‑time vision, sensor fusion, and on‑device AI—matching the compute stack of modern humanoids like Digit, Apollo, and GR‑1.

3. A realistic deployment timeline

Techman publicly targets 2026 for commercial release—rare clarity in a field full of prototypes.

TM Xplore I is not trying to be a flashy acrobatic humanoid. It is a work‑ready, vision‑driven, mobile manipulator built for real industrial tasks.
