Description

Summary:

Isaac 0 is a stationary humanoid‑upper‑body robot designed by Weave Robotics to perform one task exceptionally well: folding household laundry.

It features a humanoid torso, neck, arms, and hands mounted on a fixed base, allowing it to focus entirely on complex textile manipulation without the challenges of bipedal locomotion.

Isaac 0 blends autonomy with human teleoperation backup, enabling it to fold nearly any garment from day one.

Shipments begin in February 2026 for Bay Area customers.

Editorial:

Isaac 0 is one of the most pragmatic consumer robots ever released.

Instead of trying to be a general‑purpose home humanoid, Weave Robotics chose a single, high‑value chore — folding laundry — and engineered a robot that can actually do it reliably.

This approach avoids the hardest problems in home robotics:

- navigation

- cluttered environments

- multi‑room mapping

- safety around pets and children

By staying stationary and focusing on manipulation, Isaac 0 delivers real utility immediately.

Its hybrid autonomy + teleoperation model ensures the robot never gets “stuck” for long — a remote specialist can correct mistakes in 5–10 seconds before handing control back to the AI.

This is a robot built to work, not impress with acrobatics.
