SUMMARY:
Genie G2 is a wheeled humanoid robot developed by AgiBot Innovation for industrial‑grade manipulation, guidance, inspection, and people‑safe interaction.
It features dual 7‑DoF torque‑sensing arms, 19‑DoF dexterous OmniHand Pro hands, 360° LiDAR‑based perception, and on‑device embodied AI powered by NVIDIA Jetson Thor T5000 (~200 TOPS).
It was launched October 16, 2025, and has already secured nearly 1,000 units in a major factory deployment.
EDITORIAL:
Genie G2 is one of the most commercially mature humanoid‑class robots in China. Instead of chasing bipedal locomotion, AgiBot chose a wheeled base, enabling 7 km/h mobility, high stability, and 24/7 duty cycles with hot‑swappable batteries.
Its torque‑sensing arms, sub‑millimeter precision, and visuo‑tactile fingertips allow it to perform tasks normally reserved for industrial cobots — including RAM insertion, precision assembly, and delicate object handling (e.g., raw eggs).
The robot’s Genie multimodal AI, WorkGPT mission‑level model, and GE‑1 world model give it advanced planning, simulation, and real‑time adaptation capabilities. This is a true industrial humanoid, not a demo robot.
