Dobot Atom is a full‑size industrial humanoid robot developed by Shenzhen Dobot Corp. Ltd. It features 28–41 degrees of freedom, ±0.05 mm precision, straight‑knee energy‑efficient walking, and five‑finger dexterous hands. Atom is designed for factory automation, assembly, inspection, and multi‑robot collaboration, and is already in batch production as of 2026.

Atom is Dobot’s entry into the industrial humanoid race — but unlike many humanoids focused on agility or entertainment, Atom is built for precision manufacturing.  

Its Neuro‑Driven Dexterity System (NDS) gives it unusually fine motor control for tasks like micro‑assembly, tool use, and multi‑spec handling.  

 

The Anthropomorphic Walking System (AWS) uses imitation learning and reinforcement learning to produce human‑like straight‑knee walking that consumes 42% less energy than traditional bipedal gaits.
