Description

Summary:

PHYBOT M1 is the flagship humanoid robot from Beijing Phybot Technology Co., Ltd., unveiled in November 2025. Marketed as the “most powerful humanoid robot yet,” it stunned audiences by executing a full airborne backflip—a feat rarely achieved by full-sized electric humanoids. Phybot claims the M1 produces over 10 kilowatts of power, enabling athletic agility alongside industrial utility.

Editorial:

Phybot positions itself as a company dedicated to “bringing AI into the physical world”. Its mission is to co-design hardware and software so robots embody intelligence rather than just simulate it. The M1 humanoid exemplifies this philosophy: it’s not only a stunt performer but also a platform for embodied AI research.

While other humanoids like Boston Dynamics’ Atlas and Unitree’s H1 have demonstrated flips, Phybot emphasizes that M1 is the first full-sized electric humanoid to pull off a humanlike backflip. This positions M1 as a symbol of raw power and agility, ushering in what Phybot calls a “superhuman era for humanoid robots.”

Beyond performance, Phybot also develops smaller platforms like the Phybot C1, a compact humanoid with cycloidal gear actuators for precision testing. Together, these robots showcase Phybot’s ambition to redefine humanoid robotics through energy, aesthetics, and embodied intelligence.
