Description

SUMMARY:

ALICE‑5 is the next‑generation flagship humanoid robot from AeiROBOT, following ALICE‑4 — Korea’s first humanoid deployed in shipbuilding and heavy industrial trials.ALICE‑5 is expected to feature higher‑power linear actuators, expanded degrees of freedom, improved dexterous manipulation, and Isaac GR00T‑native full‑body control, positioning it as one of the most advanced industrial humanoids in Asia.

Based on ALICE‑series progression, ALICE‑5 is projected to stand 160–165 cm, weigh 45–55 kg, and deliver 50+ DOF with gearless linear actuators enabling quiet, precise, force‑controlled motion.

EDITORIAL:

The ALICE series has evolved rapidly:

ALICE‑1 — RoboCup soccer humanoid

ALICE‑3 — compact industrial demonstrator

ALICE‑4 — 41‑DOF full humanoid with linear actuators

ALICE‑M1 — wheeled semi‑humanoid for factories

ALICE‑5 represents the next leap: a full industrial humanoid designed for shipyards, construction sites, logistics, and manufacturing, where Korea is aggressively pushing humanoid deployment.

AeiROBOT’s proprietary gearless linear actuators give ALICE robots a unique advantage:

no harmonic drives

extremely low inertia

high back‑drivability

quiet operation

natural force‑controlled interaction

ALICE‑5 is expected to integrate NVIDIA Isaac GR00T, Cosmos simulation‑to‑real, and VR teleoperation, making it a physical‑AI robot capable of learning and executing complex tasks in dynamic environments.
